NORTH JACKSON - James E. Arehart, 60, passed away Saturday at his home.
James was born May 15, 1958, in Akron, a son of the late Clifford L. And Opal (Meadows) Arehart.
James served his country in the U.S. Marines Corp. He was a slitter for Solon Graphic Laminating for 10 years and a printer for Darcey Group for 16 years.
He was so strong to raise his two daughters, Misty and Kristy, as a single, hardworking father; he always put their needs ahead of his own. He will be loved and in their hearts with them forever.
His love of music was unlike any other; he was wonderful at playing the guitar and singing. He played with such passion, and always said you have to play from the heart. He had a wide range of genres he enjoyed, from county to rap, and he especially loved Eminem.
His all time favorite legend was Merle Haggard. One of his favorites to play was ”You’ll think of me” by Keith Urban
He was a one-of-a-kind individual with the upmost unique sense of humor that most will never understand.
His favorite sayings were ”quit looking at me,” as well as “guess what?...Monkeys Butt.”
James leave three daughters, Kristy Arehart of North Jackson, Misty Arehart of Youngstown, and Tabatha (Daniel) Schreck of Pennsylvania; two sons, Randall (Brittany) Riffe of Pennsylvania and Rick Waugaman of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Harlee, Haylee, Dominic, Dani, Micah and Isiah; and two sisters, Deborah Myers of Deerfield and Cheryl (Jeff) Williams of Ravenna.
James was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Mary Maughan.
Per James’ wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
