AUSTINTOWN - Adeline (Dee) Barbara Timko, 86, of Austintown, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 6, 2025 with family by her side.

She was born on June 24, 1938 in Youngstown to Edward and Ann Delon.

She was married September 26,1959 to the love of her life Andrew Richard Timko of Campbell. They were blessed with 61 years of marriage full of faith, love, joy and laughter.

She is survived by her daughter Renee Simon (John) and sons Andy Timko (Lisa) and Bruce Timko (Denise).

Adeline graduated from McDonald High School where she was a majorette and Homecoming Queen. She went on to be a nurse at Trumbull Memorial School of Nursing, where after graduating she worked at The Cafaro Hospital, for Dr. Ventresco's and retired from the Mahoning County Joint Vocational School where she taught Medical Assistant. After she retired she became a fragrance model representing the line of Angel from designer Thierry Mugler for Macy's.

In her spare time she enjoyed traveling with Andrew to many destinations both nationally and internationally. You could also find her doing ceramics and crocheting afghans for the family.

Dee had a very compassionate nature and her dedication to faith, family and friends is the legacy she left behind. She was an active member of St Christine Parish for 30+ years and did Eucharistic Ministry, served bereavement lunches and worked homebound.

She could be seen at all her grandchildren's sports or activities that they participated in, including football, baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, gymnastics, track, dance or music. you would see Dee and Andy sitting in the stands cheering and supporting for all their grandchildren; Brittany Moenter (Simon), John Simon, Andy Timko, Katianne Tabbara (Timko), Jennette Timko, Boo Timko, Brooke Hurt (Timko), Brianna Rose (Timko) and stepgrandson Miles Dunlap. Dee was blessed with 9 great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind a brother Edward Delon of McDonald and was preceded in death by sister Joann Bonasera of Sharon.

Dee knew that it was more blessed to give than receive. Her generosity knew no boundaries. We remember her with love and gratitude and celebrate her life and the difference she made in the world.

The family will be having a private celebration of life for her. Adeline will be forever in our hearts.
