CANFIELD...There will be services at Tuesday 9:30 a.m. at the
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, and at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Church for Agnes E. Pompoco, 93, who passed away Saturday afternoon after an extended illness.
Agnes was born June 2, 1911, in Youngstown, the daughter of Patrick and Mary Lynch Toomey.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Christine Church.
Her husband, Andrew L. Pompoco, whom she married April 26, 1928, died Nov. 7, 1973.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Beth and husband Paul A. Bindas Sr., with whom she made her home, in Canfield; two sons, James F. and wife Grace Pompoco of Canfield and John L. and wife Nancy Pompoco of Poland; a sister,
Florence McNally; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jayne Pompoco; five sisters, Anna Mulholland, Mary Butchey, Lucille Halnan, Catherine Mele and Patricia Toomey; and a brother, Francis Toomey.
