BOARDMAN - Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Alice Suriano Boston age 88 formerly of Neilson Ave. who passed away early Monday morning at Caprice Health Care Center.
Alice was born November 8, 1917, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Anna Shortman Neish.
She had worked at the Ravena Arsenal during W.W.II, and later at the F.W. Woolworth on Poland Rd, and at the G.M. McKelvey Department Store in Youngstown before retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Faith Community Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Brownlee Woods Senior Citizens.
Her first husband Ralph Boston whom she married in 1943, died in 1967.
Her second husband Frank Suriano whom she married in May of 1982, died in September of 1984.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Larry and Bobby Boston of Poland, two grandchildren, Lori Eric Olsen and Jim Boston, and a great-grandson Christopher Olsen.
Besides her husbands she was preceded in death by a brother William Neish.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday evening and from Noon until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
