GIRARD - There will be services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Alice M. Fire, 76, who passed away Tuesday afternoon at her home.
Alice was born Feb. 2, 1930 in Youngstown, the daughter of Worth L. and Frances Robinson Wilson.
She was a 1948 Ursuline High School graduate and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty Fire and fiance Shawn Dyke of Girard; three sons, John and wife Janet Fire of Austintown, Danny and wife Susan Fire of Leetonia and Edward R. Fire of Youngstown; her former husband, John J. Fire of Youngstown; a sister, Margaret Suit of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, William Wilson of Kissimmee, Fla., and James Wilson of Liberty;
her cousin, Kitty and husband Larry Hackett, with whom she shared a special relationship; seven grandchildren, Eddie and wife Sophia Fire, Andy Fire, Carl Fire, Donny Shepherd and Amanda, Christine and Greg Fire; a great-granddaughter, Gracie; numerous nieces and nephews, including her
great-nephew and great-nieces, Anthony, Alyssa; and her goddaughter Alexa Cannell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor¹s choice in Alice¹s memory.
