BROOKFIELD - Prayers will begin Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Church for Alice J. Saadeh, 48, who died unexpectedly Monday morning at her home.
Alice was born Aug. 19, 1964, in Youngstown, the daughter of James and Marjorie Melanson Schiffhauer.
She was a 1982 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and a member of St. Joseph Church.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Saadeh; her mother, Marjorie Schiffhauer; a daughter, Jessie Andy Darby of Masury; a son, Tony Saadeh of Brookfield; four sisters, Marie Don Morrill of Boonville, Mo., Cathy Dave Hoover of Ellsworth, Marjorie Geoff Shaw of Medina and Janet David Pintaric of Canfield; three brothers, James Gina Schiffhauer of New Middletown, Charles Schiffhauer and Paul Schiffhauer of Austintown; a grand-daughter, Drew Marie Darby; her mother-in-law, Cherie Saadeh; brother-in-law, Mike Annie Saadeh of Brookfield; sister-in-law Amira Jim Kollar of Deerfield; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father James Schiffhauer.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
