AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Almerinda Ciarniello, 89, who died Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boardman Campus.
Almerinda was born January 15, 1920, in Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy
She came to the United States in 1935 from the Moliniaize-Abruzzi region of Italy.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McDonald.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dominic Ciarniello, whom she married August 24, 1941, and who died July 15, 2000; a daughter, Violet Angiuli; a son, Donald Ciarniello; and son-in-law, Dominic Angiuli.
She is survived by her son, Dominic "Jack" Chrystal Ciarniello of Canfield; three grandchildren, Carol Marie Paul Schweizer, Ralph Susan Angiuli and Robert Angiuli; and two great-grandsons, Isaiah Schweizer and Nicholas Angiuli.
Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
