Andrew Walko

Andrew Vaughn Walko, 25, of Mahoningtown died on Sept. 8, 2018.
Andrew was born on Aug. 4, 1993, in Tempe, Ariz. He was a son of John Walko and Teresa Christensen-Walko.
Andrew attended Rhodes Jr. High and Skyline High School in Mesa, Ariz., before moving back to New Castle, where he spent the earlier years of his life.
In his free time, Andrew enjoyed baseball, football, swimming, fishing, camping and playing video games. His most precious memories were spent with his friends and family, whom he cherished.
He leaves behind his father, John Walko, and his wife, Danielle, of Arizona; his mother, Teresa Walko of Idaho; his beloved daughter, Gia Walko of Pennsylvania; his siblings, Wesley, Madelynn, Rylee and Rebekkah Walko, all of Arizona, and Kendra Walko, Lynzie Lewis, Dylan Lewis and Brennen Thornton, all of Idaho; the mother of his child, Mykalyn Panella of Pennsylvania; paternal grandparents, John and Catherine Walko; and maternal grandmother, Judy Forsythe. He also leaves behind the Adamczyk family of Ohio and the Orlando family of Pennsylvania.
Family and friends may call Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel. Services celebrating Andrew's life will begin at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may take the form of donations in Andrew's memory to his daughter, Gia.
