STRUTHERS - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Angeline T. (Catullo) Stanwood, 88, who passed away Tuesday evening, after a short battle with cancer at Shepherd of the Valley Boardman, with her family by her side.
Angeline was born Feb. 8, 1928, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Constanzo and Maria (Marino) Catullo.
Angeline graduated from The Rayen School. She worked in activities at Windsor Nursing Home for 15 years.
She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, quilting and baking. She also loved going to the casino with her sisters. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved being around her family, especially on the holidays.
Angeline leaves her daughter, Mary Jo Streb of Struthers; a son, Jay (Margie) Stanwood of Columbiana; eight grandchildren, Steven Streb, Audrey (Bobby) Gentile, Aaron and Derek Streb, Jay (Amanda) Stanwood, Shannon (Brent) Baker, Rachel (Tyler) Boyle, and Katie (fiancé Neil Allen) Stanwood; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Madlyn, Juliana, Paisley, Sienna, Clayton, and Weston; a sister, Cecelia Casciano of Youngstown; sister-in-law Mary Ann Catullo of Boardman; and many nieces and nephews.
Angeline was preceded in death by two sisters, Congetta Perfette and Ann Rostier; and a brother, Dan Catullo.
Family and friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
