AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Bekavac Funeral Home in Clairton, PA and at 10:30 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Joseph Church for Ann R. Hrabosky age 97 of Austintown, Ohio formerly of Clairton, PA who passed away Wednesday morning at Austinwoods Care Center.
Ann was born March 15, 1909, in Duquesne, PA, the daughter of Michael and Suzanna Cobak Andrus.
She came to the Youngstown Area in 1977. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, St. Christine's Church in Youngstown and had a lifelong devotion to the Rosary. She was also a member of the Cornersburg AARP. Ann will always be remembered for being a great baker, and for enjoying bingo and crocheting items for her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
Her husband Stephen Hrabosky whom she married July 24, 1938, died December 27, 1969.
She is survived by two daughters Antoinette Dobos of Youngstown, and Kathleen Pleasant of Washington, DC, a daughter-in-law Dorothy Martin of West Mifflin, PA, nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son Jan Hrabosky, three sisters, Sue Slekar, Mary Kushner, and Margaret Schehr, and two brothers Michael "Mac" and George "Lefty".
Friends may call from 5 to 7 Friday at the Bekavac Funeral Home in Clairton, PA.
