BOARDMAN - Anna Marie Delfino, 87, died Sunday morning, May 5, 2019, at Hospice House, with loving family by her side.
Anna was born March 22, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of Samuel and Eunice (Black) Agnone.
A lifelong area resident, she was a 1950 graduate of South High School.
Anna was a hairdresser at McKelvey's for five years and later worked as an inspector for General Electric for six years.
She was a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague at St. Stanislaus Church, the Ladies Luncheon Club, and the General Electric Bowling League.
Anna loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed family trips to Las Vegas and cooking and baking with her family every Sunday. She had a passion for collecting Angels and loved her dogs, Opus and Nash.
Anna's love was a love like no other. She cared for her family and friends beyond measure. From making sure everyone was fed, made it to their destination safely, to simply loving with her whole huge heart unconditionally.
She was a second Mom to many, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her loved her. She leaves behind many broken hearts, she will be missed every single minute of every day. Her family will celebrate her life privately.
Anna's husband, Nicholas Delfino, whom she married May of 1978, preceded her in death on December 20, 2007.
Anna is survived by her six children, Linda Willrich of Las Vegas, Vicki Brown of Boardman, Eunice (David) Weisbart of Las Vegas, Anthony (Jeanne) Petrony of Hillsville, Sam (Audra) Petrony of Canfield, and Sandie Lombardi of Bonita Springs; 12 grandchildren, Stacey Pulido and her fiancé Mike Hawk, Glenn (Irene) Willrich IV, Jennifer (Cosmo) Iamurri, Jill Duff, Tony Petrony, Maria Ponzi and her fiancé Rob Judy, Tina (Chris) Kohnen, Sam (Kristin) Petrony, Scott (Amanda) Petrony, Sarah (Frederick) Hicken, and Dr. Cameron Lombardi; five great-grandchildren, Ava Pulido, Sammy Petrony, Glenn Willrich, Riley Ann Marie Kohnen, and Sebastian Martinez; many nieces and nephews, whom she loved with her whole huge heart; and two stepchildren, Nicholas Delfino of California and Michael Delfino of Boardman.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Patty Martzial; her brother, Carmen Agnone; her granddaughter, Jaime Lynn Petrony; and her wonderful son-in-law, Glenn (Bud) Willrich.
The family would like to thank Anna's caregivers, Jeannette, Rose and Joan and the nurses at Patriot Home Care, Renee, Jodi, and Megan for their great care and compassion. The family would also like to thank Mike Simon, Margaret Iamurri, Diane Sigurani, Dr. Luis Villaplana, Dr. David Hoffman, and the staff and Chef Shane at Johhny's. Her children would like to thank their sibling, Vicki who took amazing care of her, and made sure she was treated with tender loving care.
