New Middletown - There will be services Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church for Anna L. DiGiacomo age 83, of New Middletown formerly of Youngstown, who passed away Monday morning at Greenbriar Care Center.
Anna was born August 19, 1922 in Youngstown, the daughter of Fred and Anna Mastrodonato Ciarniello.
Anna was a former member of St. Christine Church and local senior clubs. She was currently a member at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
Her husband John C. DiGiacomo, who she married June 15, 1946, died Feb. 14, 2003.
Anna is survived by two daughters Mary Ann Ead and Suzanne John Novicky both of New Middletown; two sons Michael DiGiacomo and Robert DiGiacomo both of Youngstown; three sisters Mary Ann Potesta of Columbiana, Florence DiGiacomo of Youngstown, and Virginia Pallotta of Boardman; a brother Fred Mary Ciarniello of Austintown; six grandchildren Jennine Ead, Allison Novicky, Jill Richard Dolphin, John Novicky, Rita Donald Cole and Anna DiGiacomo; and a great granddaughter Alyssa Cole.
Besides her parents and husband, Anna is preceded in death by a brother Dominic Ciarniello and a sister Angeline Salata.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Boardman-Canfield Chapel and on Wednesday from 9 to 9:45 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
