AUSTINTOWN - Anna S. "Unna" (Blasko) Kish, 97, died peacefully Wednesday night at home with her sister by her side.
Anna was born Oct. 15, 1919, in Youngstown, the daughter of of Michael and Anna (Gedra) Blasko.
She was a 1937 graduate of Chaney High School and attended Youngstown Business College.
Anna worked as a secretary to the Vice President of Dollar Savings and Trust Company for 33 years until retiring in 1972.
She was a member of Federated Women's Group and enjoyed swimming at the Jewish Community Center.
Anna's husband, Alexander W. Kish, whom she married May 16, 1953, died in 1983.
She is survived by her sisters Ruth E. Blasko of Austintown and Vera Fry of Weathersfield; sister-in-law Marcia Blasko of Florida; nieces and nephews, Karen Fry (James Hardy), Tom (Susan) Fry, Virginia (Steve) Wright, Tom (Deb) Blasko, and Shelly (Ken) Harcar; and the love of her life, her pet poodle, Heidi.
Anna was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael J. Blasko.
