Austintown- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am Thursday at St. George Byzantine Church with Fr. David Shortt officiating for Anna Marie Serbati, age 81, of Austintown, who died Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Anna was born June 12, 1926 in Youngstown to the late Martin and Anna Mayer Miller.
She was a devout member of St. George Byzantine Church.
Ebert Catering employed her for 10 years.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Serbati whom she married January 22, 1949, he passed away in 1993; and an infant son John.
Anna leaves a daughter, Marie Anthony Scarfone, of Las Vegas, NV, a son Steve John Serbati of Mineral Ridge, two grandsons, Anthony Kristin Scarfone and Frank Dena Scarfone, three great grandchildren, Anthony, Gianna, Gino Scarfone all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Martin and George Miller.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Higgins Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. A prayer service will be offered at 4pm on Wednesday, and prayers will be offered at 10am Thursday in the Funeral Home.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
