YOUNGSTOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church for Anne T. Cuccarese, 96, who passed away Thursday morning at Greenbrier Nursing Home.
Anne was born Sept. 16, 1915, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Lee and Rose Marnelli Tiberio.
Anne graduated from South High School. She was a secretary for the Mansion Restaurant. She was a dance instructor for Kotheemer School and was a member of the Amerital Auxiliary and the Junior Vivace Club. She loved to sew and read. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandson and great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Joseph A. Cuccarese, whom she married Sept. 25, 1944, passed away March 7, 2002.
Anne leaves her daughter, Rosemary T. Battaglia of Boardman; a grandson, John M. Jennifer Battaglia of North Carolina; two great-grandchildren, Mario and Andrew Battaglia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anne was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy DeMain and Theresa Fortunato and four brothers Sam, Gilbert, Louis, and Lee Tiberio.
Family and friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Entombment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.
