AUSTINTOWN - Anna Peressini, 91, passed away on Friday, Dec. 16, at the Clare Bridge Senior Living Facility in Austintown.
Anna was born on Sept. 15, 1920, in Istrago, Italy.
She immigrated to the United States with her family in the mid-1950s and settled in the Youngstown area.
She was a devoted wife and mother and had a passion for cooking and gardening.
Anna is survived by her two sons, Louis and Ivan; grandchildren Allison, Kayla, Corey and Chris; and sister Luigina.
Preceding her in death were parents Maddalena and Antonio; sister Maria; and brothers Cecchi and Danilo.
Family and friends may call Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to all of the caring staff at Clare Bridge and Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care that they provided.
