AUSTINTOWN - Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Highway Tabernacle Church, with Pastor Gary Gray officiating, for Annetta Mae Timmerman, 74, who passed away peacefully at her home, from complications of ALS.
Annetta was born May 3, 1945, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Ray Samuelson and Evelyn Rizer.
She graduated from South High School. She was a member of the Highway Tabernacle, where she sang in the choir and was active in the Red Hatters, Sunshine, and Bereavement Ministries. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, baking her famous pies, listening to “Moody” radio, playing guitar, and singing in the family musical group “The Generations,” where they performed at area nursing homes.
Annetta is survived by the love of her life, William B. Timmerman Sr., whom she married June 21, 1963; her second mother, Nola Surman of Richfield; her four children, William B. (Sandee) Timmerman Jr. of Austintown, Brenda (Ramon) Elosegui of Youngstown, Missy (Jim) Fisher of Youngstown, and Kris (Bill) Kosco of Medina; nine grandchildren, Michael, Matty, Marlena, Marcus, Emma, Iman, Billy, Grace, and Ellie; three brothers, Michael (Barbara) Borosky of Ft. Lauderdale, Wesley White of Salem and Vernon White of Richfield; sisters-in-law, Barbara Samuelson of Chicago and Elizabeth Timmerman of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Samuelson and Wayne White; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet (Jack) Calpin.
Family and friends may call Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
