STRUTHERS-Services will be Friday at 10:00 AM at The Old North Church of Canfield for Mrs. Annie J. Joseph age 76 of Struthers who passed away Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center after an extended illness.
Annie was born March 28, 1930, in New Castle, PA, the daughter of Anthony and Loretta Iatonna Gentile, and came to this area in 1957 from New Castle.
She was a 1948 graduate of New Castle High School, was a homemaker, and attended The Old North Church of Canfield.
Her husband John M. Joseph whom she married June 15, 1951, died February 4, 1982.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Gary L. Ingram of Hubbard, a son Mark A. Joseph with whom she made her home, two granddaughters, Sheri Porterfield, and Christie Ingram, and four great grandchildren, Grant, Annie, Julie, and Emily Porterfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Arena.
Friends may call from 4 PM to 8 PM Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel and on Friday from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at The Old North Church.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Old North Church, 7105 Herbert Rd. Canfield, Ohio 44406 in Anna's memory.
