AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church for Anthony R. Sinibaldi Sr., 83, who passed away early Thursday morning at his home.
Anthony was born Sept. 17, 1930, in New Castle, Pa., a son of the late Querino and Margaret (Conti) Sinibaldi.
Anthony served in the U.S. Air Force. He was union president, supervisor and painter for Metropolitan Housing Authority. He was Golden Gloves Champion in the 1950s. Anthony also enjoyed puzzles, and fishing. Anthony was the patriarch of family; he was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and a great-great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
Anthony leaves his daughter, Deborah Simpson (Richard Simpson) of Austintown; his two sons, Anthony R. (Kozette) Sinibaldi Jr. of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Dean A. (Julia) Sinibaldi Sr. of Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Deborah Ramsey, Anthony Simpson, Anthony R. Sinibaldi III, Santino Sinibaldi, Joseph Sinibaldi, Rocco Sinibaldi, Dean A. Sinibaldi Jr., Jill Sinibaldi and Vincenzio Sinibaldi; 12 great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Taylor, Ethan, Jayden, Alexander, Ash, Austin, MaKayla, Giovanni, Kaylee, Liana and Gregory; a great-great granddaughter, Nevaeh; and a sister, Marion Klabon of New Castle, Pa.
Family and friends may pay their respects Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral Home.
Internment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
