NORTH LIMA - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM, for Antonette "Toni" Lorenzo Shramko, 99, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully at the Assumption Village in North Lima on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Toni was born Nov. 27, 1917, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Bambina (Orlando) Lorenzo.
She graduated from Ursuline High School and was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church for over 70 years.
While Toni had successful careers as a photographic retoucher, beautician, and caterer, she will be remembered most as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 46 years, Bernard Shramko; brother Lewis Lorenzo; and sisters Rose Brine, Josephine Brine, Mary Moyer and Sr. Carmelita Lorenzo O.S.U.
Toni is survived by her beloved sons and their spouses, Bert (Sue) Shramko of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Anthony (Aimee) Shramko of Phoenix; and a special niece, Mary Lou (Bob) Riebe of Boardman. She cherished the love of her three grandchildren, Mark (Nancy) Shramko of Mansfield, John (Teresa) Shramko of Chattanooga, and Patricia (Tim) Welsh of O'Fallon, Mo.; special great-nieces, JoAnn Frattaroli and Jeanette Higgins; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Toni was a woman of great faith and found contentment in the simple things in life, bringing calm to others with daily acts of kindness and love. She will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Assumption Village for their care and compassion shown to Toni. A special thanks goes out to the staff at Hospice of the Valley for their loving care in her final months.

Calling hours will be at St. Dominic's Church on Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 9 to 9:45 a.m. and funeral services will follow at 10 a.m.
