CANFIELD - April Irene Gifford-Morgan, 43, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 1, 2018.
April was born Feb. 3, 1975, in Youngstown.
April is survived by her parents, Albert and Linda (Connelly) Gifford; sisters Kristin Yocum (Troy), Candace Nespeca (Dominic), and Wendy Penniman (Rick); and children Jarod, Cameron, and Olivia Morgan. She also leaves behind four nephews and three nieces who adored her.
April was a 1993 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and was a CNA for the Steward Medical Group in Middlefield. April worked at General Motors with her dad in Lordstown for 12 years and was a member of UAW Local 1112.
April was known for her nurturing spirit and great passion to care for any human or animal who needed help. Aside from being known for her amazing smile, April was a beautiful singer and artist, and had the most tender, empathetic and compassionate heart. She never judged and was very witty, with a glowing sense of humor and mischievous personality. Her favorite music was Eminem, Prince and Pink.
Her three kids were her world and greatest accomplishment. Her nieces and nephews were her second loves behind her own children. Dominic, Callie, Beau, Molly Kate, Kevin, Andrew, and Erin had the greatest aunt anyone could ask for and she was known by the littles for her beauty and maternal touch. There wasn’t a more loving set of arms for babies in the world.
Private services were held Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
Monetary contributions in her honor can be made to the Berea Animal Rescue Fund, who shares her great love of animals.
