POLAND - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Arnold A. Gmitra Jr., 58, who passed away peacefully Wednesday evening at his home.
Arnold was born July 30, 1956, in Youngstown, a son of Arnold A. and Gerri (Stiver) Gmitra.
Arnold graduated from Boardman High School in 1974. He was a welder for Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic Corporation in Warren. He enjoyed fishing and his dog, Dozer. Arnold also loved traveling to Lake Erie and Presque Isle during the summer.
Arnold leaves his fiancé, Linda Thomas; his mother, Gerri Gmitra; sister Lynn (Robert) Krcelic of Poland; and his nieces and nephew, Khristine (Ben) Krcelic Mashburn, Laura and Nicholas Krcelic.
Arnold was preceded in death by his father.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
