Barbara Cash

POLAND - Prayers will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Family Church for Barbara A. Cash, 72, who passed away Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Health Center Boardman.

Barbara was born Sept. 17, 1942 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late James E. and Catherine (Cronk) McGinnis.

Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Ursuline High School. She taught briefly at IHM, after which she dedicated her life to her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and nurturer to al she knew.

Barbara leaves her husband, Shelby J. Cash Jr. whom she married June 19, 1965; her three children, Lanore (Matthew) Jones of Youngstown, Shelby (Terri) Cash III of Hudson, and Elizabeth Cash of Germantown, MD; five grandchildren, Lucy Jones, Shelby Cash IV, Nate Jones, Audrey Cash, and Angie Cash; a sister, Patricia (Richard) Milheim of Lancaster; and three brothers, James McGinnis of Villa Marie, PA., John McGinnis of Austintown, and Robert (Connie) McGinnis of New Wilmington, PA.

Barbara was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen McGinnis.

Family and friends may pay their respects Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers material tributes may take the form of donations to her favorite charity, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
