Barbara Kowalczyk

CANFIELD - Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, for Barbara A. Kowalczyk, 65, who passed away Monday evening at her home with her husband by her side.
Barbara was born Dec. 21, 1947, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Edward and Dolores (Leaf) Artzerounian.
Barbara was an office manager for Gainan Chiropractic in Boardman. She enjoyed going to the ocean and to Hilton Head for vacations. She also loved cooking and good food. Barbara's greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored.
Barbara leaves her beloved husband, Matthew M. Kowalczyk, whom she married Oct. 13, 1967; her daughter, Beth (Bill Hutchison) Kowalczyk of Columbus; her son, Matthew E. Kowalczyk of Seattle; her three grandchildren, Ella, Billy, and Jack; her sister, Dolores (Dan) Herrington of Malvern, Pa.; and her two brothers, Edward Artzerounian and Frank Artzerounian of Downington, Pa.
Barbara was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Kowalczyk.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
