COLUMBUS - Barbara Ann (Thompson) Rykowski died Saturday, June 27, 2015, in Columbus, surrounded by her family.
Barbara was born on June 15, 1953, in Youngstown.
Barbara was very involved in Boardman Schools PTA, when her children were young, and spent the past four years living in Columbus and working at Cleveland Clinic Star Imaging while enjoying her hobby, spending time with her family.
"We were all blessed to know her, and she will be dearly missed."
Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Michael Rykowski; three children, Jeffrey (Amy) Masenheimer of Columbus, Kristi Masenheimer (Charlie Herdman) of Boardman, and Lori (Mitch) Prozy of Columbus; two stepchildren, Jake and John Rykowski; and four grandchildren, Gianna and Jackson Prozy, Henry Masenheimer, and Gino Herdman.
She is also survived by her mother, Mary Virginia Thompson; brothers Thomas (Rosanne) Thompson, James (Karen) Thompson III, and William Thompson; and sister Karen (Mary) Thompson; as well as her niece and nephews.
Family and friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
