AUSTINTOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. James Parish for Beatrice "Bea" G. Wilson, 82, who went home to be with the Lord Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center while surrounded by her loving family.
Bea was born May 5, 1931, in Youngstown, to Charles and Emma (Coltura) Boerio.
She was a 1947 graduate of Ursuline High School. Bea worked in management for Strouss' and Woolco Department Store for many years.
She was a lifelong member of St. James Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society. Bea enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Square Wheels Dance Club. She was also a member of the Red Hats Society, North Jackson Chapter. Bea enjoyed gardening, crafts, sewing, and baking. She was an avid collector of thimbles and honeybees.
Bea was a devoted wife and loving mother, who dedicated her life to her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Katherine (Don) Keener Jr. of North Jackson and Christine Locke (Willie Hutchcraft) of Austintown; a son, Wilbur C. (Diane) Wilson of North Jackson; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bea was also preceded in death by her husbands, Wilbur O. Wilson and Art Titus; her dear companion, Wayne Harmon; and nine siblings.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, North Jackson Chapel, and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
