BERLIN CENTER - A memorial service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Bertha "Betty" I. Boyer, 77, who passed away early Thursday morning at Ivy Woods Manor.
Betty was born Jan. 1, 1936, in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Orr) Myers.
Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed going to bingo and bowling.
Her husband, Irvin D. Boyer, whom she married Sept. 10, 1955, passed away March 3, 2004.
Betty leaves two daughters, Karen Boyer of Poland and Mary (Brad) Speece of North Jackson; two sons, Kevin Boyer of Austintown and William (Patti) Boyer of Berlin Center; a brother, Dennis Myers of Franklin, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Brad, Brie, Sarah, Jennifer, Brittany, Nicole, Katrina, and Skylar; and four great-granddaughters.
Betty was also preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia and Judy and three brothers, Earl, Jack, and Bob.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
