Betty Bonham

Austintown -- Memorial Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Betty J. Bonham age 86 of Briarfield Manor, formerly of Sandy Crt., New Middletown who died Monday at Briarfield Manor.
Betty was born March 12, 1918, in Greenville, Pa., the daughter of Matthew G. and Florence Boies Magner.
She was a 1937 graduate of South High School, had worked in sales at AL Mart and Hills Department Stores. She had lived in California for ten years in the 1980s, and later returned to this area.
Her husband Robert W. Bonham whom she married September 4, 1966, died July 23, 2001.
She is survived by two daughters, Joan John Fitzgibbon of Boardman, and Sally Richard Schneider of Largo, FLA., two sons Thomas Ausnehmer of Cleveland, and Ron Ausnehmer of Pittsburgh, Pa., three sisters, Eileen McPhee of Canfield, and Patricia Bud Grimm and June Doulder both of Largo, Fla., a brother George Mary Magner of Largo, Fla., six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son James C. Ausnehmer, a sister Virginia McKinley, and a brother Jerry Magner.
Friends may call from 1 PM to 3 PM Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to either Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market St. Boardman, Ohio 44512, or the Society for the Blind.
