STRUTHERS ? A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church for Betty ?Betsy? L. Reda, 75, who passed away Wednesday morning at Park Vista Nursing Home.
Betsy was born Nov. 17, 1935, in Struthers, to the late Robert and Cle Winters Failor.
Betsy was a 1953 graduate of South High School. She was a veteran serving in the Women?s Army corps. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Betsy?s greatest love was for her family and they were everything to her. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her husband, Reno A. Reda, whom she married Aug. 25, 1956, passed away Feb. 7, 1997.
Betsy leaves her daughter, Gina Paul Garchar of Struthers; two sons, Reno ?Jay? Michelle Reda of Geauga County and Sam Rhonda Reda of Pataskala; and six grandchildren, Aubi, Larry, Paulie and Adrianna Garchar and Sabrina and Reno Reda.
Family and friends may call Friday from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to Potential Development Program Endowment Fund, 209 W. Woodland Ave., Youngstown, OH 44502.
Arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel.
