Bianca Pasquale

AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Brendan Church for Bianca M. Pasquale, 79, who passed away Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Bianca was born Sept. 13, 1936, in L'Aquila, Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Speranza (Mascilli) Rongone.

Bianca graduated from Chaney High School and was a commercial sewer for Weatherbee Raincoat Co. She loved cooking, especially her sauce, manicotti, smelts and pitzels. Bianca also loved to crochet and was known through her family and friends for making over 250 afghans for family, friends and organizations (Salvation Army). She enjoyed bowling, and loved gardening and taking drives with her husband.

Her husband, Walter E. Pasquale, whom she married July 11, 1959, passed away Oct. 18, 2004.

Bianca is survived by her three children, Carl (Paulette) Pasquale of Youngstown, Jennifer P. Pasquale of Austintown and Janet Smolko of Austintown; five grandchildren, Victoria and Megan Pasquale, Abby (Charlie) Angelo, and Michael and Emily Smolko; two great-grandchildren, Angeles and Anna; three siblings, Frank (Bruna) Rongone of Youngstown, Louisa Damiano of Austintown and Anna (Joseph) Amendolora of Columbiana.

Bianca was also preceded in death by a sister, Amalia Sebastiana.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Pasquale family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff on the 4th floor and SICU and especially the nurses and physical therapists at Omni Manor on Vestal Road for their love and care.
