CANFIELD - Services will be Monday morning at 11:00 AM at St. Michaels Church in Canfield for Bradley W. Myers age 38, of Canfield who passed away early Thursday morning at his home surrounded by family after a two year courageous battle with colon cancer.

Brad was born October 17, 1968 in Youngstown the son of Frederick P. and Karen J. Barney Myers.

He was a 1987 graduate of Canfield High School, and had served a five year apprenticeship with Plumbers and pipe fitters Local # 396 earning his journeyman status. He had worked at Johnson Controls for the past eleven years as a service technician and a service representative. A fireman since 1993 he had earned the rank of Captain with the Canfield Joint Fire District.

He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Plumbers and Pipe fitters Local # 396, Argus Lodge in Canfield, and a member of Camp IF in Warren, PA. Brad loved the outdoors, hunting, cars, and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He will be remembered as a faithful, husband, father, and brother by his wife, the former Debbie M. Thornton whom he married March 28, 1998, his daughter Sheridan M. "Bitsy" Myers, and son Joseph P. Myers at home, a sister Brandi John Myers-Nairus of Dayton, his parents Fred and Karen Myers of Canfield, his father and mother in law J. Donald and Carmel Thornton of Boardman, a brother in law Darren Christina Thornton of Austintown, and a sister in law Cheryl Thornton of Boardman.

Friends may call Sunday from 1 PM to 3 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, where a Masonic service will be held at.
