COLUMBIANA Services will be Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel and at 1 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral Church for Brenda Gaglione, 66, who died Sunday evening at Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Brenda was born May 8, 1942 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Galante Muscatello.
She is a 1960 graduate of East High School and had worked in the insurance industry retiring in 2002 after 25 years. She loved her family and was very proud of tradition and very strong on family values. Her greatest joy was taking care of her kids and the grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her son, T.J. Rochelle Gaglione with whom she made her home with in Columbiana; four daughters, Michelle John DeRose of North Lima, Karen Dave Markulin of Canfield, Renee Oddo of Canfield and Dana Norm Moses of Austintown; nine grandchildren, Joey, Bryan, Alex, Adrianna, Carlie, Michael, Anthony, Santino and Mya, who all knew her as ³Nana;² three sisters, Rose Jinx Ciolli of El Paso, Texas, June Jack Palermo of Youngstown, Judy Bill Cannacci of Cleveland; a brother, Joe Muscatello of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Vincent Oddo; and her sister, Phyllis DeLucia.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice House in Brenda¹s memory.
