Brett R. Kaufman

YOUNGSTOWN - Brett Ramsey Kaufman, 77, passed away peacefully on the night of August 24, 2024, after a long well-lived life. 

He was born on October 7, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Carroll and Jane (Ramsey) Kaufman. 

Brett graduated from Youngstown State University. He was an honest, sarcastic and approachable man. He was easy to sit down and have a conversation with. He never complained about anything and lived with an "it is what it is" mindset. 

Brett worked many jobs throughout his life - ranging from a pawn shop broker to a real estate agent. He loved his lawn and being home. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grand-puppies, Mya and Max. 

Brett is survived by his three children, Erik Kaufman, Brandy (Victor) Scott, and Misty Flores-Kaufman (Eusebio), all of Poland; sister, Barbara Ferreri; and his one and only granddaughter, Roxanna Flores-Kaufman. 

Brett was predeceased by his wife, Patricia "Patty Lynn" (Venuck) Kaufman and his parents. 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours, which will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home - Poland Chapel, 2726 Center Rd, Youngstown, OH 44514.
