Carol Griffith-Tropepe

CANFIELD -- Memorial services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Church for Carol A. Griffith-Tropepe age 54 of Carriage Lane Canfield who passed away Tuesday afternoon after a five month battle with cancer. Carol was born August 15, 1949, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Geraldine Fusco Kundracik. She had worked as an account representative for Sterling Jewelers in Akron for the last five years until the time of her illness. Prior to working at Sterling, she had worked at Bank One in downtown Youngstown for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Charles Church, a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Mooney, and had attended Youngstown State University.
She is survived by her husband Larry N. Tropepe whom she married July 11, 2003, her mother Geraldine Kundracik of Youngstown, two daughters, Jessica Michael Loftus of Warren, and Carolynne Tropepe of Boardman, two sons, Zachary Griffith of Warren, and Eric Tropepe of Boardman, two sisters Janet Robert Hamer of Boardman, and Catherine Dale Evankovich of Akron, two brothers, John Kundracik of New Middletown, and Robert Helen Kundracik of Boardman, a grandson Ryne Paul Loftus, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday morning at St. Charles Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, tributes may take the form of donations to either Angles for Animals, Second Chance, or the Anerican Cancer Society.
