Carol V. Pauschert

YOUNGSTOWN - Carol V. Pauschert, born on February 6, 1930, in Youngstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, at The Inn at Christine Valley, surrounded by loved ones.

A proud graduate of South High School, Carol had a distinguished career, notably serving in the main office at Isaly's on Mahoning Avenue for many years. Carol's passion for learning and keeping her mind sharp was evident in her love for reading and engaging in word and trivia games. She found joy in traveling around the world with her beloved husband, John P. Pauschert, creating memories that enriched her life. Carol also cherished the serene beauty of Mill Creek Park.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Phil) Leone of Canfield and Joan (Bob) Morton of Lexington, Kentucky. Carol was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Shawn (Colleen) Murray, Kelly Murray-Takacs, Dean (Anita) Morton, Dawn (Tyler) TenEyck, and Jenny Pauschert-Jackson. Her family continued to grow with the addition of four great-grandchildren: Julian, Olivia, Wyatt, and Willow. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law, Debbie Pauschert.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Beardmore; her sister, Jeanne Manche; her brother, William Beardmore; her husband, John P. Pauschert; and her son, John F. Pauschert. Each of them had a profound impact on her life and will be warmly remembered.

The visitation for Carol V. Pauschert will take place on April 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home - Austintown Chapel located at 4303 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44515. A second visitation will occur on April 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Christine Church located at 3165 S. Schenley Ave, Youngstown, OH 44511, followed by a Mass celebrating her life at 11:00 AM.
