BOARDMAN - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, for Carolyn G. Nardella, who died Saturday afternoon at Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Carolyn was born Aug. 25, 1941, in Youngstown, to William and Catherine (Wells) Shook.
She was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Church and was involved in the PTA at St. Nicholas School.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Nardella, whom she was happily married to for nearly 50 years; three daughters, Michelle (John) Goodin of Poland, Krista (Matthew) White of Poland, and Karla (Travis) Stocker of Struthers; a son, Dominic Nardella of Cleveland; two sisters, Gayle Elmer of Austintown and Harriet MacAvoy of Austintown; a brother, David Shook (Marcie Rester) of West Farmington; six grandchildren, JP Goodin, Tyler, Trent and Tessa Stocker, Emma and Sara White; and great-granddaughter, Marlee Goodin
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Shook.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
