Cassandra West

BOARDMAN - Cassandra Nicole West, 19, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 6, 2015.

Cassie was born Feb. 29, 1996, in Youngstown, a daughter of Ralph and Jennifer (West) Roupe.

She loved the little things in life; dancing in the rain, getting lost in nature and spending time with her dog, Charlie. Cassie's laugh and smile will forever live in the memories of all those who loved her.

Cassie leaves her parents of Boardman; two brothers, whom she was very close with, Nicholas Pondillo of Boardman and Christian Roupe of Florida; stepsisters Kerri-Lynn (Jacob) Fell of Wheatland, Pa. and Emily Roupe of Sharon, Pa.; nephew Gavin Robinson; her godparents, uncle Rich and aunt Patty Brincko; grandparents Ronald and Sandra West and George and Louise Pondillo, both of Boardman; great-grandparents Daisy West and Lena Clementi, both of Boardman; and cousins Meranda West, Michael West, and Isabella Clementi, who was like another sister to her, all of Boardman.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Gregory Clementi and Fred West; and her aunt, Michele West.

A celebration of Cassie's life will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Stambaugh Room in Boardman Park.

In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donation at any of the Huntington Bank branches in Cassie West's name.

She had the soul of a gypsy, the heart of a hippie and the spirit of a fairy.
