Austintown - Services will be Saturday at 10 AM at St. John Lutheran Church for Catherine "Kay" B. Miller, 77, who passed away Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Kay was born September 7, 1929 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Sekarak Bacha.
Kay was a graduate of Chaney High School. She was the organist at St. John Lutheran Church for 20 years. Prior to being an organist at the church Kay was known for giving organ lessons at her home and for playing at local skating rinks. Kay was past president of the Hammond Organ Society. She was also a member of the church.
Her husband Michael J. Miller Jr. whom she married July 25, 1953 passed away February 6, 1992.
She is survived by a daughter Kathleen Jim Krokoski of Austintown; two sons Mike Phyllis Miller and Mark MaryAnn Miller both of Austintown; a sister Josephine Albert Ulrich of McDonald; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10 AM at the church.
