CANFIELD-Memorial services will be held Monday at 7:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman- Canfield Chapel for Mrs. Charlene Novotny age 75, of Parma formerely of Canfield who died Thursday in Parma.
Mrs. Novotny was born June 23, 1931 in Pa the daughter of James and Stella Davis Thompson.
Charlene retired from the Packard Electric Plant.
She is survived by her husband Leonard Novotny whom she married in 1960, three daughters, Linda Chris Dietz, Cynthia Michael Ahrens of Ohio, and Diana Ralph Hubble of California, a sister Mary Kay Orlando of Diamond, a brother Gary R. Patty Thompson Sr. of Warren, a sister-in-law Virginia Thompson of Poland, ten grandchildren, and fifteen greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son David Novotny, a sister Geraldine Neimi, and a brother, James E. Thompson Jr..
Friends and family may call from 5 :00 PM until 6:45 PM Monday evening at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the charity of thier choice in Charlene's memory.
