"Together Again"
POLAND - Services will be Tuesday at noon at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Charles T. Cole, 91, who died Friday evening at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Columbus.
Charles was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Youngstown, the son of Charles B. and Mamie (Brick) Cole.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 15 in Poland. He loved being outdoors, fishing, boating, water skiing, and hunting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
His wife, Irene, whom he married Oct. 18, 1946, died Feb. 2, 2014.
He is survived by two daughters, Charlene (Gerel) Scott of Lewis Center and Kari (Tim) Kauffman of Gahanna; a son, Brian D. (Nancy) Cole of Thornton, Colo.; three sisters, Betty, Ruth and Snookie; and five grandchildren.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl.
Friends may call for one half hour prior to services at the funeral home.
