Charles Siman

BOARDMAN - Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, for Charles T. "Chuck" Siman, 61, who died early Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Chuck was born Dec. 9, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of Charles R. and Irene J. (Castle) Siman.
He was a 1971 graduate of Wilson High School and attended Youngstown State University. Chuck worked at Borden Dairy as a plant supervisor for 20 years.
Chuck had a passion for all sports, especially baseball. He coached for Boardman Little League and Youth Baseball for over 20 years. Chuck was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan, and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.
His greatest joy was his family, especially his children and his three dogs, Chloe, Riley and Mason, whom will miss him dearly.
Chuck is survived by his wife, the former Geri Beck, whom he married Oct. 22, 1977; his mother, Irene J. Siman of Boardman; and his two children, Jamie and Charles "C.J." Siman of Boardman.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Columbiana County Humane Society, P.O. Box 101, Salem, OH 44460 or to the KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center, 2132 Case Parkway, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
