POLAND - Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Charles W. Wright, 66, who passed away Sunday evening at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Charles was born Aug. 17, 1946, in Youngstown, a son of Robert and Mary Strauss Wright.
Charles was a 1964 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and then attended trade school. He was employed at V&M Star as a machinist. Charles was a member of the Sportsmen Club and enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking and playing with his grandchildren.
Charles leaves his wife, the former Beverly A. Marsolo, whom she married May 2, 1970; his mother, Mary Wright of Boardman; his daughter, Kimberly Brian Pennell of Columbus; his son, Chuck Billie Jo Wright of New Springfield; two sisters, Darlene Wright of Florida and Cynthia Louis Grieco of Boardman; his brother, Eugene Valarie Wright of Youngstown; five grandchildren, Chuckie and Kylie Wright and Alyssa, Danny and Samantha Pennell; and his brothers-in-law, Don Fuller of Alliance, Phil Donna Marsolo of Austintown, and David Pat Marsolo of Westerville.
Charles was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Betty Fuller; and three brothers, Bob, David and Richard Wright.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
