Charlotte M. Wike

GIRARD — Charlotte Matilda Anderson Wike, 94, was called to her heavenly home, Sunday, March 30, 2025.

She was born April 30, 1930, in Bessemer, Pa. She was a steadfast servant of God, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Charlotte’s faith was evident in her lifelong stewardship at First Covenant Church and in the comfort she provided to those around her. Her kindness and dedication to her family were unparalleled. She took pride in sending birthday cards to friends and family alike.

Her hands crafted countless memories in the kitchen and her food and baked goods brought joy to many. Charlotte’s presence was a constant source of strength and warmth and her legacy of love will live on through the generations.

She is survived by her loving children, Karen (Rod Prodonovich) Walters, Ruthann (Henry) Bertolini and Lori Sanfilippo; cherished grandchildren, Craig (Vanessa) and Mark Walters, Alexa and Vince Bertolini, Eric Johnston and Jason Sanfilippo; and adored great-grandchildren, Anna, Carly and Chloe Walters, and Kiera D’Altorio. 

Charlotte is reunited in death with her dear husband, James E. Wike; and her siblings, Florence (Ed) Nelson, John (Victoria) Anderson, Willard (Lois) Anderson, Doris Anderson and Robert (Bonnie) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Axel and Signe Anderson.

We take solace in the knowledge that Charlotte’s spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the love she shared. 

Charlotte will be laid to rest in Lake Park Cemetery. A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life on earth will be held at a future date.
