AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Chester J. Sudol, 92, who passed away Friday at Hospice House.
Chester was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Donora, Pa., the son of the late John and Katherine Sudol.
Chester served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a welder for Koppers Chemical for 34 years, retiring in 1981. Chester was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and was a member of their Altar and Rosary Society and the Men's Club.
Chester leaves his wife, the former Elizabeth Yatsco, whom he married Nov. 15, 1941; his daughter, Judith Spangler of Westport, Conn.; two sisters, Helen Malone of New Castle, Pa. and Mary Leroy Corso of Sun City, Ariz.; two brothers, Walter Sudol of Warren and Rudy Sudol of Torrance, Calif.; two grandchildren, David Kimberly Spangler and Amy Brian Pennington: and five great-grandchildren.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Stella Torok, Violet Frazler and Jennie Shimko; and three brothers, Frank, Joe and Stanley Sudol.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
