Christina Malcomson

AUSTINTOWN - Christina Helsel Malcomson, 56, passed away Thursday morning at Northside Valley Care Hospital.
Christina was born Oct. 19, 1957, in Salem to Delbert W. and Mary C. (Bush) Helsel.
She was a graduate of Western Reserve High School and attended Youngstown State University. Christina was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, playing pool, cards and computer games and listening to Bruce Springsteen.
Christina is survived by her husband, John S. Malcomson, whom she married April 6, 1995; her mother, Mary C. Helsel; a daughter, Cathan Bricker of Cleveland; a sister, Shirley Dugan of Lordstown; and five nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Delbert John Helsel; sister Joyce Ann Sahli; and father-in-law John G. Malcomson Jr.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
