CANFIELD - A memorial service will be held Saturday June 14th at 11:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Christine Thomas age 53 who died Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.
Christine was born January 21, 1961 in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Marjorie (Stein) Thomas. She was a 1979 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and had attended Youngstown State University.
She had worked at the financial aid department of YSU for over ten years until the time of her illness.
She is survived by her parents; Marjorie and Paul Thomas of Austintown, two daughters; Dina Campolito of Cincinnati and Laura Campolito of Columbus, a son Danny Campolito of Akron, a sister Sheryl (George) Baker of Columbus and a brother Darryl (Laura) Thomas of North Jackson;and her former husband Dino Campolito
Christine's family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to either Hospice of the Valley or Angels for Animals in her memory.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 7 PM Friday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
Christine's family would like to give a special thanks to the St. Elizabeth nursing staff and support staff in 6 West for all of there care.
