LORDSTOWN - Services will be Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, North Jackson Chapel for Christopher V. Weston, 44, who died Tuesday after being shot twice in a robbery attempt in Youngstown.
Christopher was born June 8, 1966, in New Kensington, Pa., the son of James V. and Carole A. Kiely Weston.
He was a graduate of Plum Senior High School in Plum Borough, Pa. and later attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Gunston Hall and was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Chris was known for his ability to fix anything. He was currently working in maintenance for George Rafidi.
He is survived by his parents, James and Carole Weston of Milton Township; a daughter, Libbey A. Weston of Plum Bourough; four sons, Douglas A. Weston and Joseph C. Weston of Plum Borough, Christopher V. Weston Jr. and Steven J. Weston of Lordstown; a sister, Judith A. Eric Grasinger of Murrysville, Pa.; two brothers, James M. Weston of Howland and Harry R. Weston of Pittsburgh; his grandmother, Bertha M. Snyder of Bedford, Pa.; and his former wife, Mary E. Weston.
He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Terri Dailey.
