NEW MIDDLETOWN - Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Chuck A. Johnson, 54, who passed away early Sunday morning at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Chuck was born July 5, 1958 in Youngstown, a son of Charles and Joan (Allison) Johnson.
Chuck was a 1976 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. He was a jigs and fixture tool maker for Parker Hannifin for 30 years, retiring in 2009. He also worked for Lyons Medical Supply. Chuck was a member of Bethel Friends Church in Poland. He loved snowmobiling in Michigan and swimming. His greatest love was for his family and spending time with his two legged and four legged friends.
Chuck leaves his wife the former Brenda J. Sinkovich whom he married Sept. 24, 1988; his parents Charles and Joan Johnson of Poland; two dogs Sampson and Delilah; a brother Peter (Laure) Johnson and Buddy of Poland; sister-in-law Cathey (John) Marker of Savanah, TN; a brother-in-law Ed "Jim" (Marcy) Sinkovich of Burghill; his nieces and nephews Jason (Megan) Marker-Owens, Jessica (Cliff Holley) Marker, Lindsay (Andy Near) Sinkovich, and Brandi (David Privler) Sinkovich; and his great nieces and nephews Martha, Clifford, Katerina, Natalya, and a great niece on the way.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law Lil and Lava Sinkovich.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
