YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church for Clara Anne Jeswald, 99, who passed away Sunday at Briarfield at Ashley Circle.
Clara was born June 17, 1913, in Herrin, Ill., a daughter of the late Vincent and Angelina Senzarino Gimelli.
Clara was a longtime member of St. Rocco Episcopal Church, a member of the Episcopal Church Women and served on the Feast Committee. She loved to crochet and will be remembered for loving to cook for her family and bake Italian goodies.
Her husband, Joseph Jeswald, founder of Jeswald Auto Body Service in Youngstown, whom she married March 5, 1928, passed away Nov. 18, 1967.
Clara will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Constance Marie Rev. Stephen Pressey of Austintown and Angeline Delores Walter Foltz of Orange Beach, Ala.; a sister, Josephine Woods of Niles; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Clara was also preceded in death by two sons, C. Frank and James E. Jeswald; three sisters, Mary Miller, Elizabeth Paradise, and Rose Hoskins; and a brother, Dominic Baulo.
Family and friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel and Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church.

Burial will take place at Belmont Park Cemetery.
