AUSTINTOWN - Cynthia L. Bondar, 60, died Friday morning at the Hospice House.
Cynthia was born Dec. 24, 1950, in Fairmont, W.Va., to the late Thomas J. and Mary Grace Costello Jones.
She was a 1969 graduate of Hubbard High School and the Wineburger & Hill Beauty School.
Cynthia had a zest for life. She loved the Beatles and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved Bingo and shopping of any kind!
She is survived by her daughter and caregiver for more than 10 years, Melissa Bondar, with whom she made her home; her son, Scott Julie Bondar of Frederick, Md.; fiancee Mark Sturm of Austintown; two sisters, Sharon Bill Julian of Fairmont, W.Va., and Jill Michael Hnat of Toledo; a brother, Thomas Angie Jones of Ranson, W.Va.; her grandson, Jonah; her great-niece, Hollie Green, whom she helped rear; her best friend, Joann Sullivan; and her faithful K-9 companion, Gypsy.
There are no calling hours or services.
Arrangement have been entrusted to Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
